Oakley’s ONE OBSESSION athlete survey examines the lifestyle, attitudes, and behavior of “The Obsessed”- the utmost dedicated athletes who tirelessly commit to their sport of choice- to find true insights into what drives them. The campaign embodies the raw emotion and struggle of everyday athletes and Oakley ambassadors, celebrating the ups, downs, the pain, and the gain of pursuing a sport and the benefits that brings into one’s life, connecting athletes with similar mindsets and attitudes.
On April 6, 2019, the international sports and performance brand debuted a fashion show at the Northwing of SM City Cebu at 3pm, highlighting their premium eyewear, accessories, and apparel, while at the same time showcasing the California-based brand manufacturer’s One Obsession campaign, which celebrates the athletic dedication and determination of individuals to their sport and trade.
The campaign invites athletes of all levels and abilities to join Oakley’s global network of renowned ambassadors in celebrating the grind and struggle of pursuing one’s own sport. Launched in 2015, the campaign attests to the rough and gritty real world challenges faced by professional and amateur athletes alike, and emphasizes the dedicated mindset of athletic individuals and the positive benefits of sports and physical fitness by offering a glimpse into the emotional connections we have with the sports that we love to pursue.
