Saving Planet Earth with Cebu Parklane International Hotel
Living in a planet where the environment is declining, green thumbs have become conscious in making Mother Earth a better place to live in, and that is what Cebu Parklane International Hotel is driving to do. With our over consumption that causes pollution in the environment, Parklane wants to give back and help make the environment a cleaner place. Their newest campaigns #PARKLANECARES and #ParklaneEcoWatch was launched to the media last March 29, 2019 which are “go-green” initiatives with the goal to be truly distinctly local with a heart. This is how Cebu Parklane International Hotel is helping make our environment a better place. "We just want to do in our little way to ease up the deteriorating environment", shares Cenelyn Manguilimotan, the General Manager of Cebu Parklane International Hotel.
#PARKLANECARES The banner campaign that helps implement corporate social responsibility and community projects that are aimed to help the environment. These initiatives include river clean-ups, medical missions, river clean-ups, and partnership with the Cancer Warriors Foundation, Inc.
#ParklaneEcoWatch The head campaign of all environmental sustainability projects, under this are environmental initiatives that will help emulate the hotel’s goal to be distinctly local with a heart for the environment, which is the Monthly Clean Up Drive which happened last February 23 and March 9, 2019 where the team had it at the streets of Kamagong, Lahug, the Luyang River Clean Up where the team had a river clean-up at Luyan River, Carmen last March 22, 2019 and gathered river garbage worth 168 kilograms, and the launch of Parklane eco-friendly merchandise which will be sold at Maning’s Convenience Store soon.
The event was capped off with performances from homegrown talents Jerika Teodorico and Lourdes Maglinte who have the room much more homey with their soothing voices.
