Things to Look Forward to for Mandaue Business Month 2019
This year’s Mandaue Business Month, in line with the 50th Charter Day of Mandaue City, is an annual flagship event with a month-long series of events that caters to community growth and business development hosted by the Mandaue Chamber of Commerce and Industry (MCCI). With the theme “Bridging the World, Bridging the Future”, Mandaue being a bridge city is a symbol of change and being a future-ready place to live in, and with business have Mandaue take advantage of adapting to new trends, making it a good destination for business and investment. “We want the MCCI to be a productive contributor to the community,” shares Stanley Go, the president of MCCI. There are currently over 10,000 registered businesses in Mandaue City, with 500 businesses registered with MCCI.
With the recent Trees Brew Life, MCCI Business Summit, The Winning Image of Success Seminar, and Trabaho Ta Bai! concluded activities for this year’s business month, here are other activities to look forward to for the rest of the remaining weeks: On August 24, the MCCI Basketball Championship will be held at the Sacred Heart School - Ateneo de Cebu at 4:00PM, this tournament will have dominating teams among the participating MCCI member companies. From August 26-31,Mandaue’s Best and Exhibit will be held at Pacific Mall from 10:00AM - 5:00PM and will showcase a series of Mandaue-made products from food to furniture and will be sold at a great discount, along with an exhibit showcasing the history of Mandaue. For those who want to give back, Blood for Life on August 31 is a one-day blood-letting activity that will be held at Pacific Mall from 10:00AM-5:00PM. For shoppers, there will be a Great Mandaue Sale from August 30-September 1 that will have malls participate in a city-wide sale and have products sold at a big discount. On September 6, the Investment Forum to be held at the Oakridge Executive Lounge will invite potential investors in Mandaue, which will be followed by the Chamber Night at 6:00PM at Oakridge Pavilion to award outstanding businesses and entrepreneurs who have given back to Mandaue.
